North Lincoln Sanitary Service Mixed Compostables Bins Information

North Lincoln Sanitary wants to make sure you know that you can use a brown paper bag to line your small plastic mixed compostables bin to keep it clean and ant/bug free. Simply pull or dump the brown paper bag lining the small bin directly into the large bin when full. Please make sure to only use paper bags.

DISASTER PREPAREDNESS: HOW READY ARE YOU?

The City of Lincoln City strongly encourages the community to educate and prepare for a disaster along the coast.  Take time to discuss with your family a plan that addresses all hazards we face such as wildfires, earthquakes, and tsunami’s.  Important plan items should address the following:

  • Who is your family emergency contact? (out of area or out of state) Make sure to help your children memorize the number as you could be separated during a disaster.
  • Where is your family meeting point?
  • What is your evacuation route?
  • Educate your family on the types of tsunami’s and warnings: distant and local.
  • Have “Go Kits” and “Stay Kits” prepared.
  • Keep gas tanks at least half full.
  • Keep emergency kits in different locations.
  • Have enough water, food, and medications to last at least a week.
  • Talk to your kids and become familiar with their school’s plan of emergency.
