Night work will begin on the D-River Bridge the week of February 4. This means that work is being done on the bridge deck at night. There will be single lane closures, and traffic will be flagged through the area Monday – Thursday evenings between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next morning. Nearby businesses will be accessible at all times, with “Business Access” signs posted near entrances. This schedule will continue until Memorial Day. There will be no night work or lane closures at D-River Bridge between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Work will begin on Schooner Creek Bridge in early summer.

This project will protect and improve these U.S. 101 bridges that have deteriorated from salt air. Both bridges are receiving repairs to damaged concrete, replacement of bridge rails, strengthening of the bridge structure, and cathodic protection from the elements.
