Noticeable headway is being made along the West side of Highway 101.  The boring of conduit has begun to allow for the undergrounding of the overhead electrical and communication wires.  D River Wayside Park provides an alluring early glimpse of the impressive beauty of Lincoln City.  Removing the overhead powerlines will enhance the appeal of the area and allow for the ocean corridor to be front and center.

The project spans from approximately NW 2^nd Drive to SW Ebb Avenue removing overhead wires on both sides of the highway.  The collaborative efforts of the City’s Urban Renewal Staff, The Public Works Department, utility partners, and K & E Construction have been working to bring this beautification project to the final phases.  It is expected to conclude the middle of May, 2018.
